Louie did you find a resolution to your issue? Please share as we've spent weeks trying to resolve the same issue and nothing is working.
Did you get the battery monitor sensor reset? Unless someone knows a manual pattern all I know is it cost me close to a couple hundred to get a local mechanic out to my place to link his computer up to my ute to reset it this way. Shit house really... The battery was maybe $340 already but then had to spend another $200 for what it took the mechanic literally 2 minutes to do via diagnostics computer.

Hi Betsy, the crank angle sensor required replacement. Try to source an after market part as the genuine is ridiculously expensive.

When cranking, If you hold the key in start position and vehicle stops cranking, (while key still turned in ingnitiin) then it’s the crank angle sensor.

@LennyJust replaced the crank angle sensor and that didn't help so God knows what's going on with it
Just wondering if anyone found a fix for the ranger hot start issue.
Yea mate mine was the crank angle sensor. Wouldn't start when hot but then let it cool down for a bit then it would start so I replaced the sensor and she's all good 👍
