Truck has O/D light flashing ON DASH. Slips when going into 2nd gear, will slip in of sometimes. Fluid level is fine. This is my problem. Anyone with answer what to do.
Had the same issue on my 99 Ranger. Had a transmission code P0720 pop up which is the output speed sensor located on the top driver side of the transmission. Replaced this, as well as draining and refilling the transfer case, and the issue went away along with the flashing OD light.
