It could be that certain parts in the solenoid either need to be replaced or the starter is not getting engaged with the gears from the solenoid because the gears might be worn down on either the solenoid or the starter so the teeth on one or both are not either lined up properly or there's pitting or pieces worn down in the metal pieces causing misalignment. Did you check your spark plugs to make sure there's a blue spark going on in them? To check the engine coils perhaps you can switch one out into another one to see if the spark plugs get a blue Spark. Maybe the connection from the wires to the solenoid need to be checked to see if there's like frayed or damaged wires or a loose connection. It would be good to also check the relays to make sure each part of the circuit is getting power. If not like I said it could be a loose damaged or frayed wire somewhere or it could have worn down on a metal part of the car and be in contact with the car metal causing it to Short.
